CompTIA A+ Certification

Having an A+ certification proves that you have a
broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating
system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing,
preventive maintenance and basic networking.
Hands-on service technicians used their real-world experience to define
the A+ test content and computer service experts developed the A+ exam
questions. A multi-level review process ensures that the A+ exam
questions are accurate and psychometrically sound.
The current A+ 2003 exams (220-301 & 220-302) are
previous scheduled to expired end of 2006. However, this will be
extended for another half a year till 30 Jun 2007. So candidates can
earn CompTIA A+ certification by passing two required exams:
. Exam 220-301
. Exam 220-302
In the meantime, the updated CompTIA A+ exams are also available now
worldwide. Candidates will be required to pass one A+ Essentials exam
(#220-601) that covers both hardware and software, plus choose one of
several elective exams that focus on different areas of support. The
electives will be:
Exam 220-602: IT Technician Enterprise for job role
such as PC Tech, Desktop Support, Student, Sales
Exam 220-603: Remote Support for job role such as
Tech, Help Desk Tech, Call Center Tech, etc.
